Business

1. Coaching applications – looking to approve them in February. The will go to the coaching committee and then to the board for approval. The coaching license requirements need to be updated for the bylaws.

2. Tryouts – dates were set. We need to do a better job of marketing and communicating; Merced will have the fliers translated into Spanish and Hmong. Head coach needs to set up the tryout format and run it. All teams need independent evaluators. Chris will assign evaluators. At February meeting coaches need to let Chris know who their evaluators will be.

3. Team parent meeting -- Mike Hernandez is hosting a team parent meeting that will focus on the following objectives; communication, registration and tryout organization and staffing, fundraising, and calendar of events

4. Trainers – Mike has identified 3 people that are committed to provide training during our practice sessions. We need to decide how to pay for it. Wally asked the Club for a goal keeper trainer. Trainers will be paid by all teams; we’ll vote on the details
