a. Review and accept minutes from last Board Meeting

Treasure Report

1. Outstanding registration fees—have received only a few outstanding fees. Players with past due amounts will not be allowed to play in the 2006 season without paying 2005 in full

b. Sport Team Accommodations had two checks returned for insufficient funds. Beth will work with them to ensure payment in full is received

c. One team from the Chico Invitational still has made good on their check that was returned for insufficient funds. Beth will contact coach and Chris will contact league president.

d. Players will not be allowed to play in the 2006 season without payment in full, a granted scholarship, or a payment plan that has been approved by Club president

b. Red cards – 1 coach and two assistant coaches got red cards during 2005 season – we need to work on sideline etiquette and behavior and not allow this to happen again.

c. Try outs – Coaches need to run their tryouts and must have at least 2 independent evaluators. Chris will help get evaluators if needed. Experienced soccer player/coach preferred to do the evaluations. Coaches must take top 9 ranked players – the rest of the roster is discretionary. The Club Secretary will notify players in writing if they are accepted to the team. Maximum of 18 offer letters out at any one time. Offer will expire in 10 days. We will not send rejection letters until there is a full roster. No need to bring birth certificate or photo to tryouts – those will be collected at registration meetings. The offer letter will also be a notification of the registration meeting.

d. Spring Training – Challenger trainers and Seleshi are planned trainers.

e. State Cup Results – no BUSC teams advanced. Good try to the Shootin’ Stars, Magic, Bobcats, and Sparks.

f. Chico High soccer camps went very well.

b. BUSC By Laws – Bruce presented a change to the By Laws to section 1:05:01 Affiliation to read: The Butte United Soccer Club is affiliated with the Butte Youth Soccer League and with the United States Soccer Federations and its affiliated organizations
