Report of Club Finances – Collecting delinquent registrations; Appointed Melanie Bundy as the BUSC Treasurer; Budget information will be forth coming

Registrar Report

Meetings are being held; teams are not brining in all their required paperwork and payments. Everything is needed to register a team. Coaches and assistant coaches also need to get in their photo and pink forms. Meetings need to be done soon, not in the first 2 weeks of June.

Old Business

There was a motion to approve Nathaniel Sillars as the U10 Boys coach and Kevin Mackall as the U12 Boys coach. The motion was approved. The Club also approved Jennifer Geerlings as the U14 Girls coach, in her absence.
There seems to be enough players for an older boys team, but the Club is searching for a coach. Art Dawes and Ron Henning are calling the interested boys. It was mentioned that they could consider community playing league rather than Division 1 or 3.
The Metro for the 2006 season are: U10G – Attila Kasza, U10B – Nathaniel Sillars, U12G – Mike Hernandez, U12B – Kevin Mackall, U16G – Doug Carroll. The Flames have changed back to a Division 1 team and understand they will need to support the Chico tournament.
Metro team applications need to be turned into Chris by May 19. U10 teams need 11 on the roster; all others need 13 or more.
Kelly Brown is going to Butte College to recruit girls for the older team.

New Business

a. There was a motion to accept the less expensive uniform jersey. The motion was approved. Try on dates will be set; most likely at 7 A-Side. U10 teams need uniforms; all other teams can decide when to switch. This is a transition year and teams need to be in the new uniform next year. North Valley does not want to change existing numbers on jerseys: players should get new jerseys to get new numbers.

b. Practice schedules were set.

c. Watch for rattlesnakes at Wildwood

d. 7-A-Side will start June 17 and go for 6 weeks, ending on July 22. Need responsible adults to set up and teams to take down. The Club will run the concession stand and teams are welcome to sell dinners. Let Beth know sign ups. Jamba juice will be there.
