The Butte United Soccer Club Board of Directors meets each month on the last Tuesday at the Loma Vista School. Meetings start at 7:00 during off season and may move to 7:30 September through November to accommodate team practices.

Meet B.G. Sick, Butte United President
B.G. was elected as the new Butte United Soccer Club President at the Annual General Meeting in February 2009.
B.G. brings a wealth of well rounded experience to Butte United, including soccer coach, referee, club manager, and Board of Director. He retired from Air Force in 2006 and serves on the United Way Board of Directors. He’s a soccer dad and married to Butte United Registrar Cindy Sick.
B.G. served as the Beale United Club Manager, the Yuba-Sutter Youth Soccer League recreational club of over 200 players. He was elected to a Board of Director position for the YSYSL competitive Club. B.G. was recently the Assistant Coach for Butte United’s Legacy and holds an E/D coaching license. While at Yuba-Sutter, he also served as an assistant coach on the Azzuri team. B.G. holds a grade 8 referee license and is qualified to ref recreational, competitive, high school, and indoor games.
If you’ve met B.G., you already know that he is passionate about soccer, children and the continued growth of the sport in our community. He is working on an in-house training program utilizing the many talented people we have right here in our own backyard! B.G. participates in Butte United’s Field Acquisition and Development (FAD) committee, working on future plans to develop our very own soccer complex. He works with CYSL and other BYSL clubs to leverage resources and create a spirit of cooperation and opportunity for all of our soccer kids.

Meet Rob Robbins, Director of Coaches
Rob is Butte United’s Director of Coaches, elected at the Annual General Meeting in February 2009. He is responsible for creating a unified coaching strategy for Butte United and recruiting qualified coaches. Rob brings a variety of soccer experience as both a player and a coach.
Rob holds a National D license and is the Head Coach of the Butte United Sparks. Rob previously coached Butte United’s Storm, and held Head Coach positions for Shasta College men’s team and the Lady Bigfoot indoor league.
Rob’s playing experience ranges from youth soccer, junior college, and international teams.
